Call of Duty: War Zone Season 3 has arrived, and Raven Software has taken this opportunity to make a lot of changes to the game. The full patch notes were revealed earlier today, and many fans are just beginning to learn what has changed. In the third season, sniper rifles went through some major changes, which made them noticeably less powerful. As ModernWarzone points out on Twitter, the number of snipers who can fire a single shot has dropped to five, and now three sniper rifles can’t do it at all. Sounds like a very drastic change!

So far, reception for the change has been a bit mixed. On the other hand, the change is less realistic, but it should be noted Call of Duty: War Zone It’s also a game that’s about to have a crossover with Godzilla and Kong, so realism isn’t really a high priority. If these changes make the game more balanced and more enjoyable for the majority of players, the trade-off certainly seems worth it.
As with any changes, it will be some time before we can see how well these changes will work in the game. It can’t be easy to keep everything in balance, and there is no way to make everyone happy. Raven Software and Activision are constantly changing war zone To make the game more interesting, and if these changes harm the game, there is a good chance that we will see them change again after a long time. For now, players will only have to see how Season 3 plays out, but it looks like there will be plenty of things for fans to enjoy!
